OFFE and LA Lista Readers,

"'Satisfied' is a word that must not exist in the vernacular of Veterans", this was told to me by my uncle, William "Bill" Ruiz, U.S. Navy, WWII, Combat Decorated Veteran (RIP).

At a time when buzzards are circling over the near death "HOME" at VA, WLA, and, sharks are herding the prey of services and resources through a proposal to take over the VA healthcare system, we must stand united, regardless of political persuasion or demographic difference, WE ARE VETERANS and it is on our watch that this irreparable harm threatens to forever affect the application of the "Promise of Sacred Trust".

Consider the two serious matters of (1) the proposal to "boldly transform" the VA healthcare system and (2) the land-grab at VA, West Los Angeles, CA. Now, combine those special influenced manipulations with this link, describing the policy of VA not terminating any employee that harms disabled Veterans.

What can we do about this?

We "dance with the one that brought you".

Your following and socializing the wrong that we have reported over the years is what you have to keep doing. Only, now, you can do it with much more confidence and never allow the bullying of the powerful special interests or the self-serving bureaucrats to intimidate you.
