OFFE Delegation Meets with Charlie Daniels

On September the 11th members of Operation Firing For Effect met briefly with Charlie Daniels in Rochester, New York. Daniels was performing a concert at the National Guard Armory located at 900 East Main St., and he took time to visit with the OFFE team.
During the brief meeting, Daniels added his autograph to a beautiful red, white and blue Trinity guitar that OFFE will be raffling off for Veterans Day on November 11, 2008. Daniels inscription reads; “God Bless Our Veterans”. The guitar was signed by country music legend Willie Nelson several months ago. Nelson’s inscriptions reads; “Thank You For Serving”. To the best of our knowledge, the OFFE guitar is a very unique one-of-a-kind guitar that has both the signatures of Willie Nelson and Charlie Daniels displayed on it. Details concerning the OFFE signature guitar raffle will be released soon.
Charlie Daniels is the latest celebrity to add his support to OFFE’s efforts to acquire full mandatory funding for veterans healthcare. Daniels has agreed to record a public service announcement for OFFE promoting the full funding concept.
