1/10 Cavalry, 4th Infantry Division. Purple Heart
medal with 1 cluster.
Wounded in combat, resulting from enemy ground fire in October
16, 1970 March 16, 1971.Retired medically as an E5, after
petitioning the US Army for review of honorable discharge,
officially retired in early 1970.
Graduate of Our Lady of the Lake University, San Antonio, TX
with a bachelor degree in Social Work (BSW) in 1978 and a Master
degree in Social Work (MSW) in 1983.Currently an activist for
veterans’ rights and treatment of PTSD.
