Sir:
Thank you for the opportunity to support your group. Here is my bio and rationale:

Work History: ex military pilot, ex tractor-trailer driver, ex nuclear engineering, ex AFL-CIO business agent, ex motorcycle mechanic, currently technological and scientific tech writer and consultant.

Politics: I'm an American and proud of it. End of conversation. Military: Sergeant [E-5] USAF; commissioned officer, USAF. When President Abraham Lincoln said in his Gettysburg Address that the servicemen whose graves he was consecrating gave their "last full measure of devotion," he was wrong. The fullest measure of devotion is not to die, but to live disabled. The veteran who dies does so with immeasurable honor and accolade. But the veteran who was maimed or disabled in the line of duty, and lives on, gives that same measure of devotion hour by hour, day by day, to the end of his life. The servicemen and women who reside among us today, disabled from putting their lives between our 'loved homes and the war's desolation, continue to give their full measure of devotion to this nation with every minute that they live. Nothing - NOTHING - is too good for them. No price, no sacrifice, is too much to pay in order to achieve their comfort and their ease.
